About Claire Coveney:
Since taking ballet lessons aged 5 Claire has always loved to dance. She studied Dance and Biology at Roehampton Institute and then later trained as an Alexander Technique teacher. During this time she found Contact Improvisation and after dancing mainly contemporary techniques loved finding her own impulse and creativity, exploring presence and relationship within the dance.

Her work and life practice also draws on yoga, body mind centering, functional anatomy, developmental movement, somatic communication and nature.

‘Contact Improvisation is not just about the dance it is about life. What makes us human and how we can expand our conscious intelligence as humans.’
