Workshop leads into an evening jam with Bristol Contact Improvisation

The workshop, for all levels of contact improvisation, will focus on different body sizes… e.g. longer, shorter, taller, lighter, heavier… and how to playfully and honestly navigate our weight sharing and lifting when we are dancing with each other, as different sized people -as well as also exploring the feelings about our own body sizes that we bring to the dance…

Joe Evans and Jan-Ming Lee are very different sized dancers, and they have been researching and dancing together questioning their different body sizes for a while now, and would like to bring their games and strategies to help others in their dance!
