Sex Workers’ Opera

I was one of the two musicians playing the score for Sex Workers’ Opera, a community theatre project giving voice to the diverse experiences of Sex Workers around the globe.

The show directed by XX Experimental Experience Theatre, came from a desire to look at sex work, and to attempt to represent another side than what is already documented, to give a voice to those whose jobs are at stake but who have no stake in the decision processes occurring presently within the government. Laws are being made, raids are being carried out and the people it affects most are never heard.

This series of the show was performed at Courtyard Theatre, London.
