Le Collectif International Des Improvisateurs (2013-2015)
Between 2013 and 2015 I was performing and dreaming with this collective of improvisers. We were a core group of musicians collaborating with dancers, animation and live drawing artists.
The Next Room (2014)
We created and performed this piece at a week-long residency at The Barbican Pit Theatre, where we developed a model for an audience-led experience called The Next Room, a multimodal immersive performance, directed by musician/composer Roddy Skeaping. Working with the audience on active imagination – redefining performance space, softening boundaries. I performed on the piano, flute, toys.
Embracing the Elements (2015)
This was the sequel to The Next Room, an epic-scale immersive performance that took over a warehouse, leading the audience through atmospheres of the natural elements, crafting light and set design to bring the music, dance and visual art performance into a dream-like sensorial playground for the audience. I performed on the piano, flute, spade and balloon.
