When the Trees Breath Out (2020)

‘When the Trees Breath Out’ is a performance project in collaboration with the company The Purple Ladies that is about storytelling and song. We are creating participatory explorations in an immersive environment for a young audience, to inspire them about the wonders of the forest. The show also takes inspiration from Peter Wohlleben’s book ‘The Hidden Life of Trees’.

Due to Covid-19 we have transformed the process to create an album of participatory audio and video tracks for children and their families in their homes.

Each track invites children to get curious about our trees and our forests through physical, imaginative, meditative activities together.

I have been very much nourished by the creative process together with this amazing team of artists, keeping me working and connecting toward a better relationship to nature.
