Engaging & Creating Culture: a participatory installation (2017)

How do we humans, working together, create this rich world of art, culture and ritual? What makes a cultural tradition? This live participatory installation explores the origins of ritual movements and the creation of shared meaning, as well as explaining some of the science behind our social-cultural behaviour.

Take part in making and breaking traditions to explore the science of social interaction, learning and innovation.

Join artists Elisa Nader, Jan Lee and neuroscientist Dr Antonia Hamilton for a personal encounter of current scientific research through interaction and conversation.
