We developed an unusual vocabulary of moving together, through our shared ways of describing cultural food textures as emotions and relationships. The physical activities of drying the peel interacted with our visceral senses of smell, taste, touch and rituals of collective care and nourishment.

We invited the audience to join us in exploring the tactility and scents of the tangerines and peels- sensory information that bonded us all together, reaching through our visceral pathways between each other. It reminded us of something absolutely new, yet completely familiar as the intergenerational rituals we have sharing food together with family and friends.
